Finding Balance

Everyone has their own escape-- a way to take a step away from the stress and pressure of life and enjoy the present. For me, that escape is photography. When I get behind that camera it is a high like no other.

As life starts to weigh me down, like it has the tendency to do to us all, I find myself searching for a muse. Searching for any reason to grab my camera and not look back. While I count down, waiting to leave Minnesota, I can't help but think about how I will miss the everyday stresses I have come to know far too well.

What is in a name?

What is in a name??

I find naming my work to be the hardest thing to do.

How can i name it? Naming the photo is like putting a cage on it and not allowing it to run free.

One of the many great things about photography and well any art is that each person will have a different reaction to each piece. If i name my work then is the reaction that you have really yours? Or is it a reaction that i guided you to find? I try not to name my work but sometimes i feel compelled to. i love to hear what other people think my work should be titled.... SO LEAVE comments so i know!!!
